Into the wild heart of Osa

The heart of Corcovado National Park — one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. A full-day expedition from Puerto Jiménez by boat to Sirena, exploring primary rainforest trails with Jairo as your private guide.

FIELD SCHEDULE

Itinerary

  • 5:00 AM Hotel pickup — Jairo picks you up at your hotel or agreed meeting point in Puerto Jiménez.
  • 5:20 AM Boat departure to Sirena — about 45 minutes across the Golfo Dulce. Watch for dolphins en route.
  • 6:30 AM Arrive Sirena · SINAC check-in — entry permits processed at the station.
  • 6:45 AM Guided wildlife expedition — primary forest trails with Jairo until noon. Tapirs, macaws, monkeys, reptiles. Adapted to your pace.
  • 12:00 PM Lunch at Sirena Station — rest, eat, share photos and identify species with field guides.
  • 1:00 PM Afternoon exploration & beach — secondary trails and a beach walk until 3:00 PM, with final wildlife spotting.
  • 3:30 PM Boat return — arriving in Puerto Jiménez around 4:30 PM. Hotel drop-off arranged.
