La Leona Ranger Station, positioned on the western edge of Corcovado National Park along Costa Rica’s Pacific coastline, serves as a pivotal entry point for visitors to explore the adventure. From La Leona, the excursions will take you through the verdant rainforest, traverse pristine beaches.
🟢 5:30 am: Departure from Puerto Jiménez 4×4.
🟢 7:00 am: Arrival in Carate (estimated 1.5-hour drive from Puerto Jiménez to Carate).
🟢 Start of the walk from Carate to La Leona station (prepare and begin the hike).
🟢 The Estimated arrival at La Leona Station is at 8:30 am.
🟢 Explore the trails around the Leona station, 5 hrs hike.
🟢 12:00 pm: Return to Carate to meet your transportation.
🟢 2:00 pm: Transportation departs from Carate and arrives in Puerto Jiménez at 3:30 pm
